Details of correspondences made with the Central Railway

  • The Central Railway has approved revised GAD containing the provision of steel girders instead of PSC girders for the span between A1-P1 on 19/07/2010, vide their letter no. NSW. 641. BR. 379, dated 19/07/2010.
  • Approval of Temporary Arrangement Drawing (launching scheme) with the launching truss details for PSC girders for the span between P1-P2 (18.30m) and steel girders for the span between A1-P1 (29.60m) for approval on 15/06/2010.
  • The points raised by central railway vide their letter no. SR. DOM/BB 108 W ROB ROB FOB/56 dated 21/07/2010, have been complied by MSRDC vide MSRDC’s letter no. MSRDC/02/JMD (II)/BCP/3342, dated 28/07/2010.
  • The approval of Temporary Arrangement Drawing for PSC girders for the span between P1-P2 (18.30m) had been approved by the central railway vide their letter no. NO BB/W/3521/DEP/ROB/KJRD/km24/4-5/DB, dated 07/10/2010. And finally the approved TAD for the PSC girders for the span between P1-P2 is received from the Central Railway on 19/11/2010 after incorporating the corrections suggested by CBE (Central Railway) and DEN, CSTM (Central Railway) during their site visit on 12/11/2010. Accordingly the launching has been carried out completed on 31/12/2010.
  • Temporary Arrangement Drawing of the steel girders for the span between A1-P1 have been principally approved by the Central Railway vide their letter no. No/BB/W/3521/ROB/Dep/KJRD/km24/4-5/DB, dated 28/12/2010 and the original paper tracing have been submitted by MSRDC to Central railway vide MSRDC’s letter no. EE/MSRDC/ROB/Camp-1/715, dated 24/01/2011.
  • Regarding the launching scheme for the span between A1-P1, the central railway required some details vide their letter no. NO/BB/W/3521//ROB//Dep/KJRD/km24/4-5/DB, dated 01/02/2011, have been complied by the MSRDC vide MSRDC’s letter no. EE/MSRDC/ROB/Camp-1/728, dated 03/03/2011.
  • Even though the TAD for the steel girders have been principally approved by the Central Railway on 28/12/2010.
  • Fabrication of steel girders for the span between A1-P1 is completed on and assembling work is complete on 06/08/2011.
  • DEN (CSTM) and XEN (CSTM) visited site on 09/08/2011 and inspected steel girders and suggested some minor rectifications which are in progress.
  • At present the TAD for the steel girders for the span between A1-P1 is with CRS.
